A Tokyo business hotel achieves fully self-service check-in with KEYVOX

Challenges
HOTEL ALL IN is a business hotel in central Tokyo with many guests arriving late at night. Managing front desk staff shifts was a challenge, and check-in queues were lowering guest satisfaction.
Solution
KEYVOX web check-in and smart locks were implemented. Guests complete check-in procedures online in advance and can go directly to their rooms upon arrival using a QR code on their smartphones. PMS integration automatically syncs reservation data.
Results
Average check-in time was reduced from 8 minutes to nearly zero. Two front desk staff positions were eliminated, achieving approximately 6 million yen in annual cost savings. Guest review ratings improved from 4.2 to 4.6.
