Panic open
Even when the thumb turn is locked from inside, pushing the lever handle down opens the door. Guests never fumble in an emergency.
Locks as soon as it closes
Linked to the door sensor, the lock engages the moment the door shuts — no more rooms left unlocked by guests or housekeeping.
Inside lock blocks outside entry
Once a guest turns the inside thumb turn, no other valid QR code can open the door from outside. Privacy is protected during the stay.

Runs the chip proven in QR1 and connects to the KEYVOX cloud, issuing keys automatically from many cloud PMS and booking systems.

Guest room doors work the way they always have
Guests just hold up the QR code they received. From inside, pushing the lever opens the door; closing it locks it. Neither staff nor guests have anything new to learn.
Before you order
- QH1 accepts QR codes only. It does not support PIN codes.
- Installation requires a dedicated door cutout. Contact us about replacing an existing hotel lock.
- Powered by four AA batteries (sold separately). Wired power is not supported.
- Requires 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Bluetooth is used only for pairing.
- By default every lock has its own physical key. A physical master key is available at extra cost.

FAQ
Can it be opened with a PIN?+
No. QH1 is QR code only. For doors that need PIN entry, consider QR1 LE or QR1 FLAT.
What is panic open?+
Even when the door is locked from inside with the thumb turn, operating the lever handle alone lets you exit. Guests can evacuate in an emergency without dealing with the lock.
If a guest locks the door from inside, can a staff QR code still open it?+
When the inside thumb turn is locked, no other valid QR code can open the door from outside. This hotel-lock behaviour puts guest privacy first.
Can it replace our current hotel locks?+
Installation requires a dedicated cutout. Replacing an existing hotel lock depends on the door, so please contact us.
How long do the batteries last?+
About six months on four AA batteries at 10 openings a day. Wired power is not supported.
Does it work with our PMS?+
Yes. Like QR1, it connects to the KEYVOX cloud, so keys can be issued automatically from the many cloud PMS and booking systems KEYVOX integrates with.
