Getting Started
How long does installation take?+
Device installation takes about 10 minutes. Including cloud setup, you can start operations as early as the same day.
Is construction work required?+
The BCL-QR1 attaches to your existing thumb-turn lock, so no construction is needed. It can be removed for rental properties without damage.
What types of doors are compatible?+
KEYVOX is compatible with most doors that have a thumb-turn lock. Please contact us for doors with special lock types.
Pricing & Plans
Are there any upfront costs?+
There are no setup fees for either monthly or annual plans. You only need to purchase the device itself.
What are the free plan limitations?+
The free plan supports up to 1 device. It includes basic features such as PIN code unlocking and access logs (7-day retention).
Can I change plans at any time?+
You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Switching from an annual plan to a monthly plan takes effect after the current contract period ends.
Security
What happens if a PIN code is compromised?+
You can immediately change or revoke PIN codes from the admin dashboard. Using one-time PIN codes ensures automatic expiration after a single use.
Is communication encrypted?+
All communications are encrypted with TLS 1.3. Device-to-server communications also use encrypted channels.
What happens if the battery dies?+
You will receive a low-battery alert notification. Even if the battery runs out, you can unlock the device using a mobile battery via the external power port.
Integrations & API
Which PMS and OTA platforms are supported?+
We support major OTAs including Airbnb, Booking.com, Rakuten Travel, and Jalan. Custom integrations are also available via our API.
Is an API available?+
We provide a RESTful API. API access is available on Professional plans and above.
Can I integrate with Google Calendar?+
Yes, Google Calendar integration is supported. You can sync reservations and automate access permissions management.
