Nagasaki Velca is Nagasaki's first professional basketball club, founded in 2020. The club name combines three meanings: "Welcome", "Well community", and "Victory". Aiming for regional revitalization through basketball entertainment, they achieved the fastest promotion from B3 to B1.

Since their founding, they have embodied the "VELCA STYLE" based on "HAS IT!" — the initials of "Hard", "Aggressive", "Speedy", "Innovative", and "Together". They deliver exciting basketball that is always hard-working, aggressive, and fast to thrill every spectator.
