UNPLAN Fukuoka is a backpacker-oriented hostel with 24-hour guest traffic. Providing 24-hour reception coverage was costly, and handling late-night guest arrivals was a challenge.

KEYVOX smart locks were installed at the entrance, dormitories, and private rooms. After online check-in, guests can unlock all doors with their smartphones. Access to common areas is valid only during the stay period.

Late-night reception operations were eliminated, saving 4 million yen in annual labor costs. A stress-free experience is now provided to late-night arrivals, and positive reviews from international travelers have increased.
