2026 KEYVOX Catalog Changes Explained
The 2026 edition of the KEYVOX catalog (digital version) for our smart lock and smart locker IoT platform is now complete. To accompany the release, we have published a video highlighting the key changes from the 2025 edition. The video provides a detailed overview of the evolution of KEYVOX features and the revamped service offerings.
Key Changes
The 2026 catalog includes the following major updates and enhancements:
* Evolution and expanded integration of our flagship product "QR1"
* Centered on the QR1 smart lock, we have strengthened integration with a diverse range of smart locks and electric locks including SESAME and MIWA-series PIACK. In addition to wireless (Wi-Fi + Bluetooth) operation, the wired (PoE-powered) model continues to be available, providing flexible options to suit any installation environment.
* Beacon feature added to the "BX1" smart locker
* A new beacon feature has been added to the BX1 physical key management smart locker. This enables visualization of key status (checked out / returned), contributing to more efficient key management. The beacon is a paid option (approximately 3,500 yen) with no monthly fees.
* Repositioning of "3S" and next-generation QR1 prototype
* The product positioning of the popular "3S" smart lock has been clarified, including options for free app usage and cloud connectivity. Additionally, a next-generation QR1 smart lock featuring a black, flat design is currently in prototype, with a targeted release around summer 2026.
* Revamped support and warranty plans
* Our customer support structure has been revamped. Phone support for customer-arranged installations is now available as a paid option (e.g., 22,000 yen), and a 2-year extended warranty plan (16,500 yen, tax included) is offered, providing a total of 3 years of send-back warranty coverage. A more comprehensive on-site support plan is also available on a best-effort basis. The 24/7 AI chat support "KAI-kun," Discord community, and ticket-based support system remain available.
* New deployment case studies added
* Multiple new case studies have been added, including private villas, MIWA-series PIACK usage in coastal areas, and rental businesses involving nighttime handoffs, helping customers envision concrete applications of KEYVOX.
Catalog Availability
The digital version of the catalog is already available. The printed version was submitted for printing in January, with completion and shipping expected around early February. Distributors will receive quantity confirmations in sequence, and general customers will be able to download the PDF version or request a printed copy through our website.
