KEYVOX Strengthens Generative AI Integration with Live Demo

Blockchain Lock has strengthened the integration of its smart lock and smart locker IoT platform "KEYVOX" with generative AI. We have built an environment that supports the "Model Context Protocol (MCP)" proposed by Anthropic, enabling direct operation of KEYVOX's key API from generative AI tools such as ChatGPT. This video presents a live demonstration of AI-powered key management for the future.

Why AI Is Becoming the Next Interface for Key Management

At rental spaces, accommodation facilities, and other operational sites, key-related inquiries arise frequently: "I arrived early, can you let me in?", "I'd like to extend by 30 minutes," "The door locked but I left something inside." Beyond management dashboards and apps, KEYVOX believes the next interface needed to address these challenges is "AI." Our MCP support aims to solve these real-world operational issues and fundamentally improve workflow efficiency through a common standard for safe AI-tool collaboration.

Upcoming Release and Security

The MCP integration feature is planned for release within the coming weeks. An AI-oriented MCP manifest (natural language descriptions) will also be published alongside the API documentation. We are implementing maximum security measures, including owner-permission-only operations and a phased feature rollout.
